Stop rubbing, binding, and crooked travel — across Niceville, Valparaiso, Bluewater Bay, Crestview, Shalimar, Cinco Bayou.
We repair garage door tracks that are bent, loose, or out of alignment. If your door scrapes, sticks, or moves crooked, stop operating it; forcing the door can worsen the damage or let rollers leave the track.
Near the bay, salt air and humidity can corrode metal tracks and mounting hardware. Vertical and horizontal tracks guide the rollers; the curved radius joins their paths, while flag and jamb brackets and rear hangers hold the track in position. A bend or loose bracket can make the rollers rub or bind and can leave gaps in the door’s travel.
Our crew secures the door and respects spring tension before adjusting the track. We check the track sections, brackets, hangers, and rollers, then straighten or replace damaged sections, plumb and align the tracks, and tighten the supports. Our truck carries replacement track sections, brackets, fasteners, rollers, and alignment tools. We lubricate moving parts as appropriate, but never lubricate the track itself.
Tracks and jamb brackets carry the door's weight and, in a storm, its wind load. DASMA notes that how the track and jamb are fastened to the building matters as much as the strength of the door, so after a storm we check bracket bolts for loosening and rust, not only the shape of the rail. NOAA's 1991 to 2020 normals for our nearest station show about 73 inches of rain a year, which keeps track brackets and fasteners damp for much of it.
If a roller is coming out of the rail, stop using the door until we can check it; forcing it may worsen the damage.

A team member asks how the door behaves, where it rubs, and whether it has stopped moving. Those details help us prepare for your appointment.
On site, we check the tracks, rollers, brackets, and hangers with the door secured. We provide a precise estimate for approval before beginning any work.
We straighten or replace damaged track, align it, and tighten its supports. Spring-loaded parts require care, and track surfaces should remain free of lubricant.
We finish by assessing balance and the door’s reversing response. We also confirm that the rollers travel smoothly through the repaired path.
Starting prices. A door has two lift cables and one or two springs; the exact price depends on the door, the hardware grade and how many parts are replaced, and is confirmed on site before any work starts.
Tell us what your door is doing and we'll call you right back. Starting prices are on our pricing page; the exact price depends on the door, parts, and size, and you get it on site before any work starts.
